Conversation, Learning, Interpretation and Clicking (CLIC)
Attendees of the CLIC Retreats will receive customized coaching on the use of the software in analyzing their own qualitative data. The overall goal is to help researchers make significant progress in their analysis during the retreat. Unlike a typical software training, these CLIC Retreats provide the opportunity to learn in large group, small group, and one-on-one sessions. Each participant will work at his or her own pace with ample time to work independently in either a vibrant, group setting, or a place of quiet solitude.
More than a "point and click" computer training!
Prior to the retreat, a trainer will help you customize your retreat schedule based on your learning style, research design and experience with the software (beginners through advanced). Instead of learning the tools in a lab and then trying to apply them to your data later, we want you to bring some data and get a significant amount of work done! Stay a fourth day for an unstructured work day with access to a trainer (at no additional cost). By registering for the CLIC Retreat, you will have the opportunity to:
You will receive a detailed, digital training manual, and we can customize this manual to prioritize the tools relevant for your research, with examples from your data.
The retreat fee does not include software, transportation, lodging, or meals. Coffee/tea will be served each morning. Additional details in the "Pre-Registration" link below.
